How do they handle the car wash. Will they scuff up from the car wash rails?
You have to take it off for express washes, touchless would be fine

No, you won't experience thermal issues during normal driving. We’ve extensively tested these covers in the California summer heat, and the brake temperatures remained identical to the OEM setup.
Because Teslas use regenerative braking for most of their stopping power, the physical brakes are used much less frequently and generate far less heat than a traditional car. The HALODISC 2 design maintains sufficient airflow for these conditions while optimizing your aerodynamics."

I did some research in how to make my Tesla Model Y more energy efficient and one suggestion was wheel covers. I found the HaloDisc 2s and ordered a set. This was never about saving money as it is so cheap to run the Tesla but about getting those extra miles. I do the same 500 mile trip every month and have done for the last couple of years so know the kwh/m really well and as the majority of the journey is at motorway speed 60-70mph it is usually about 290wh per mile. On my first trip with the Halodiscs this was sub 260wh per mile which about 11% reduction. Means an extra 30 miles+ on a real world journey. The quality of the product is excellent and they are well packaged and presented. Very easy to fit. Worth buying if you do those long runs where you need the extra range.

Bought this a month ago and finally got the chance to install them. Love the look! Haven��t seen a Tesla in my area either these wheels and there��s a lot of them here. I was dreading the installation but after one wheel, you basically know the steps. Would def. Get a different design in the future.

I ordered and received the wheel covers. Due to the fact that these wheel covers and unnecessarily overengeered i informed the company that I want to initiate the return process. I was given nothing but the runaround so I filed a charge-back with my credit card company. After the company responded, my credit card provider decided that they were just playing games and gave me a full refund and I got to keep the wheel covers at no charge. I will never put them on my car. Probably just give them away through Facebook marketplace. Also, they require this cheap sticky tape to be put on the wheels which has to be replaced every time you get a tire rotation meaning you're buying the tape forever. Absolute garbage product and a company that claims a 30 day return period but when you try to return them, they just give you bs responses.

Thank you for sharing your results. We understand the disappointment if you were expecting a clear drop in Wh/mi. Real-world energy consumption can vary significantly depending on driving speed, highway versus city use, weather, wind, elevation, tire pressure, traffic, and climate-control settings. Because these factors can easily shift the reading by several Wh/mi, the change from 258 to 263 does not necessarily reflect the effect of the wheel covers alone.
The covers are designed to support aerodynamic efficiency, but a fixed improvement cannot be guaranteed under every route or driving condition. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

I have a set on my model Y Jupiter, which led me to get these for my model three I can��t say I��m disappointed in them, but I wish I could��ve grabbed the custom plates that just came out
Ordered wheel cover for my 2025 Tesla Juniper. OMG. Packaging was top top notch. Quality of cover and hardware is no joke. Install took 40 min from cleaning tje wheels and applying protective tape to final install. I highly recommend this product.

Center caps fall of easily hitting a bump in the road and need to disassemble in order reach valve stem to inflate tires.
I love the ease of installing and the ability to take off quickly in the event something happens. The look is great! I have received alot of complements. It sets it apart from others on the road. I have noticed I am beating the expected 5% gains, a majority of my driving is done at highway speeds.
