From the moment I snapped these on, my Model Y transformed from “performance SUV” to something straight out of Tron. The solid-black discs with subtle vents look like glowing lightcycles should be chasing me down the freeway—exactly the futuristic vibe I wanted.
What I love
• Next-level aesthetics – The covers sit flush and hide every spoke, so the wheels read as one sleek black disc. Strangers actually point.
• Quick install – Spacer ring, twist lock, done. Four wheels took me 10 minutes with one hand and a coffee in the other.
• Real-world efficiency bump – I’m seeing roughly +10–12 extra miles per charge on my 100-mile commute. Not marketing fluff—I track Wh/mi in TeslaFi.
• Brake-friendly vents – California heat + spirited on-ramp launches = hot rotors. The tapered slots keep things noticeably cooler without giving up much aero.
• Rim protection & easy cleaning – They sit proud of the rim edge, so curb-rash anxiety is gone, and brake dust wipes off with one microfiber swipe.
A couple of small notes
• Spacer guide alert: There’s a standalone spacer-selection sheet separate from the main booklet. Use the chart to match your wheel/trim so you grab the correct spacer (Performance wheels need it). It’s easy to overlook—don’t toss that page before you check.
• You’ll need the included hex tool for the final ⅛-turn lock; keep it in the glovebox for roadside tweaks. It's also used for Emergency Removal.
Bottom line...
If you want your Tesla to look like it rolled off the set of a sci-fi movie and pick up a little extra range, the HALOBLK “Charging” covers are a no-brainer. Consider me obsessed—every glance in a storefront window feels like a mini premiere of the Model Y: Legacy Edition.
