No. HALODISC 2 should not be used in automatic car washes. The wheel covers may get scratched in mild cases, or even dislodged or forcibly pulled off in severe cases due to the pressure, brushes, or conveyor tracks.We recommend:
- Hand washing your vehicle with mild soap and water.
- If using a professional car wash, request manual wash services only.
- Avoid exposing the wheel covers to direct, high-pressure water jets at close range.

I’ve got a 2024 Model Y Long Range, and I’ve tried a few other covers that promised a 4% savings, but honestly, they didn’t quite cut it. After some experience with wind redirection, these covers have become one of the best I’ve seen, even better than the original Tesla Aero covers. This brand actually saved me 9.2%, and according to AI, I gained 78 miles! Living in Florida, you can imagine how hot it gets and how much the AC uses. But with these covers, I can keep the AC at 74 degrees and the speed of the fan at 5 with all the vents on. If you own a Tesla, you know how hard it can be to save some juice when driving in the heat with that sunroof.

Another home run! Phenomenal mirror caps. The dry carbon fiber is spectacular and compliments the spoiler perfectly. Amazed how thin and light these are. As usual, install was a piece of cake. My box was mis-shipped by USPS and opened someplace along the line...was missing all the supplemental items but at least the caps where there!

Excellent quality and easy to install. I don't drive long distances that much though, so I cannot really tell if I am getting extra ranges from the reduced air drag. But, it looks great on my model s either way!
With the RTP Black covers on, my Model Y now feels like it's coasting easier, especially at highway speeds. No concrete data, but the drive feels more refined and efficient.
