Three Cars Wearing HALODISC — and a Best Sedan Win in San Francisco

San Francisco was our second Demo Days stop of the year.

And one of our favorite moments happened before the show even started for us.

We spotted three Teslas in the parking lot wearing HALODISC.

None of them were ours.

They belonged to owners who had bought HALODISC, installed it on their own cars, and driven them to Demo Days.

We spend a lot of our time designing products, looking at prototypes, taking photos, shipping orders, and seeing customer cars through screens. Seeing HALODISC out there on someone else's Tesla feels completely different.

It was a simple reminder of why we started HALOBLK in the first place: to give Tesla owners an easier way to make their cars feel less like everyone else's.

San Francisco Felt Different This Time

This wasn't our first Demo Days event, but San Francisco felt noticeably different.

There were more people. More conversations. And more people walking over already knowing HALOBLK.

Some had seen us online. Some already knew HALODISC. Others came over to talk about their own cars, ask about the wheels, or simply say hi.

For the team, that was probably one of the best parts of the three days.

Building an aftermarket brand can feel surprisingly digital most of the time. You see orders coming in, read comments and messages, look through reviews, and receive photos from customers around the world.

Then you come to an event and someone walks up to the booth and says:

"Yeah, I know HALOBLK."

That still feels pretty cool.

The Model 3 Highland We Brought to San Francisco

For San Francisco, we brought a Tesla Model 3 Highland with a completely new HALOBLK livery for 2026.

The car was built around a silver-gray base with green details running through the body and into the wheels. We wanted it to look clean from a distance, while giving people more to notice when they got closer.

The wheels became one of the most important parts of the whole look.

We paired the car with a custom green set of HALODISC 2 Custom Numbers, carrying the same green detail from the bodywork directly into the wheel design.

From some angles, the numbers almost disappeared into the silver-gray car. From others, they caught the light and stood out immediately.

They didn't feel like something added after the car was finished.

They felt like part of the car.

That's also one of the ideas behind HALODISC 2.

A wheel can change the entire side profile of a Tesla without turning the car into a complicated build.

HALODISC 2 RTP keeps that idea simple, with a clean surface that can be left as-is or used as a starting point for owners who want to create something of their own.

HALODISC 2 Custom Numbers takes it in a more personal direction.

For this Model 3 Highland, Custom Numbers was the obvious choice.

And Then It Won Best Sedan

On the final day of Demo Days San Francisco, our Model 3 Highland was named Best Sedan.

We had spent the weekend watching people stop by the car, take photos, look closely at the wheels, and ask us questions about the build.

Ending those three days with a Best Sedan trophy felt especially good.

We're proud of the car, but we're just as grateful for everyone who spent part of their weekend with us — whether you came over to talk about HALODISC, showed us your own Tesla, took a photo, or simply stopped for a closer look.

And, of course, thank you to the Demo Days team for the recognition.

The trophy is coming back to HALOBLK with us.

The Giant HALODISC Trophies You May Have Seen

If you've been following the Demo Days U.S. tour, you may have noticed another HALODISC appearing at each stop.

Only much, much bigger.

For every city on the tour, HALOBLK created a one-off HALODISC-inspired commemorative award with a design made specifically for that city.

Rather than using the same trophy everywhere, we wanted each stop to have something of its own.

Demo Days presents these oversized HALODISC pieces to standout builds and their owners during the tour.

It's been a fun project for our team because it brings together two things we care about: design and the people who actually make car culture interesting.

Every city has its own character.

The award should feel like it came from that city too.

Three Days We'll Remember

Three days in San Francisco gave us a Best Sedan trophy, a lot of good conversations, plenty of photos, and more than a few ideas to take home with us.

But we'll probably remember those three HALODISC-equipped Teslas in the parking lot just as much.

There's a reason.

Once something you've designed starts appearing on cars you didn't build, owned by people you've never met, it changes the way you look at the work.

It's no longer only ours to look at and say, 'this is good enough'.

Someone is putting it on a car they see every morning.

They're driving with it.

They're showing up at meets with it.

They're making it part of something that represents them.

That comes with a responsibility.

The next HALODISC has to be better considered. The next idea has to earn its place on the car. Installation should get easier, not harder. Customization should open up more possibilities, not simply give people another part to buy.

Because the goal was never to make every Tesla look like HALOBLK.

It's to make it easier for more owners to make their Tesla look like theirs.

San Francisco reminded us of that.

The trophy was a very good way to end the weekend.

Seeing HALODISC already waiting for us in the parking lot might have been an even better way to begin it.
