Frequently Asked Questions
Do Tesla Model 3 wheel covers fit every Model 3?
No. Tesla Model 3 wheel covers need to match the correct model year, wheel size, and factory wheel design. Different Model 3 generations and wheel configurations may use different cover shapes and attachment points. Before ordering, confirm your Tesla Model 3 year and original wheel style to ensure a secure fit.
Can Tesla Model 3 wheel covers help protect the rims from curb rash?
Yes. Full-coverage Tesla Model 3 wheel covers can act as a protective barrier over the factory rims, helping reduce direct contact with curbs, light scratches, and everyday road debris. They are especially useful for Model 3 owners who frequently drive or park in urban areas. However, no wheel cover can prevent all wheel damage from heavy impacts.
Do Tesla Model 3 wheel covers affect driving range?
Aerodynamic wheel covers can help smooth airflow around the wheels and reduce drag, particularly during highway driving. The actual effect on Tesla Model 3 range depends on the wheel-cover design, driving speed, weather, tires, and road conditions. For this reason, wheel covers should be viewed as an aerodynamic upgrade rather than a guaranteed range increase.
Are Tesla Model 3 wheel covers easy to install and remove?
Most Tesla Model 3 wheel covers are designed for straightforward DIY installation without replacing the original wheels. Typically, you remove the existing aero cover, align the new cover with the wheel and tire valve, and press it securely into place. Protective foam tape may also be used around contact areas to help reduce scratches. Removal may require firm, even pressure because properly fitted covers are designed to stay secure while driving.
Can Tesla Model 3 wheel covers scratch the rims underneath?
Poorly fitted covers or trapped dirt and debris can sometimes cause small surface scratches on the rims underneath. To reduce this risk, clean the Model 3 wheels before installation, make sure the cover fits securely, and use protective foam where recommended. Periodically removing the covers for cleaning can also help prevent grit from building up between the cover and wheel.
Is it safe for automatic car washes?
No. HALODISC 2 should not be used in automatic car washes. The wheel covers may get scratched in mild cases, or even dislodged or forcibly pulled off in severe cases due to the pressure, brushes, or conveyor tracks. We recommend:
- Hand washing your vehicle with mild soap and water.
- If using a professional car wash, request manual wash services only.
- Avoid exposing the wheel covers to direct, high-pressure water jets at close range.
Will it affect brake cooling?
HALODISC 2 is designed with airflow in mind and is safe for normal daily driving. For aggressive track use, you may consider temporary removal to maximize brake cooling.

買って良かったです。
My order came in damaged and they fulfilled it and gave me back what was damaged at no extra cost to us
Shipping, install, and look of the product exceeded expectations. Very happy with overall look of the car. Helps to stand out in the sea of model Ys in the Houston area. Thank you again!
They look amazing can’t wait to put them on in the spring!
My Tesla’s range has improved, the car has an incredible sci-fi look to it, and it was easy and fast to make the change, and it protects my wheels from curb rash. Amazing. I wish my car came stock with these, but so glad I bought them. The customer service was also amazing and fast when I had a small issue that was actually a legit mistake of oversight on my end. They were gracious and patient with me. Class act. Would gladly do business with them again.
The shopping experience was great. The actual wheel disc isn’t as great
The tool is great but the Disc isn’t so great.
Love the brand. I love the Style
The metallic red cap on the wheel cover looks great on my new red Model Y. Lot of compliments.
I have a 90 minute commute that’s all highway 3 days a week. These are advertised to be 10% more efficient, but I’m getting 12.5%. Very impressive! Well worth the money! Very sharp looking.
Just got em installed, and as a non-car guy, it couldn't be easier. Now they are in and my car looks so much better.
Great product and great support team! Love my Model S new look!
Whole system is a waste, center cap falls off every other week !
